Welcome Max

I am trying to get caught up on the first 8 months of Emma and Ellie life, but have to interrupt that plan a little to introduce the newest member of our family and the first BOY cousin...
Maxwell Thomas Hayes was born September 12th, 2008 at 2:51 PM. He weighed 7 lbs 12 oz and is 21 inches long. Isn't he completely adorable?
Claire did great and is feeling well. She only had to push for one hour!

I am already completely in love with the little guy. And I have to say, it was fun to buy some blue baby clothes!

Max is doing well, but has to be on antibiotics for 48 hours as a precaution against getting an infection. Hopefully, on Sunday he will be able to stop the antibiotics and go home with Mom and Dad.
