Go figure

Kids are funny. Once everyone was on the road to recovery last week at the cabin, we put the girls in their swim suits and thought we would go swimming. It was afternoon and hot, a seemingly great time to swim. We were wrong. They sat on the beach and looked at the water, but there was no way anyone was going in.

The next morning, when they were in their clothes and the air was still cool, both girls insisted on swimming and loved every second of it.

Ellie stayed in her shirt and got completely soaked. But she giggled the whole time.

Emma didn't really like waiting her turn,

but she does tend to be a little braver and more interested in the water, so she ended up completely naked, completely wet and completely happy.

Later in the week, we did swim in our suits, but I think the girls had the most fun in the water each morning when they got to get their clothes wet.
